Brenda Nom Mortgage & Insurance Adviser was started in 2012 as a way to help Kiwis by simplifying insurance and the home buying process and to be a full-service company that guides clients through every step of the process.
Our team’s aim is to make the journey as easy and informative as possible. If clients have a question, the team will make sure it’s answered truthfully and thoroughly. And in we’re available 24/7 for emergencies so that we can be reached when we’re needed most.

Brenda started the business in 2012 after a 10-year career in Banking. Having worked for a local Invercargill bank during this time, Brenda gained insight into Client Management and both home and personal lending including Housing NZ applications, KiwiSaver, debt consolidation, and insurance options.
Brenda prides herself in helping every client throughout their lending and insurance journeys and is there for her clients from start to finish. Her aim is to make this journey as informative and as easy as possible, giving clients a clear path on how to achieve their goal.
Brenda is passionate about helping people; she is extremely committed to the Southland Area. She volunteers for Age Concern where she visits the elderly in their homes while offering company and companionship. She also volunteers regularly for the Blind Foundation where she reads the newspaper regularly, provides transportation, and regularly goes to their meetings to provide company and companionship.
Her love and pride for the community and helping people is shown in both her personal and business lives
Brenda and her husband Chris love travelling and food experiences and live in Bluff with their two cats Harmey and Marley.
Leana joined our Team in February 2017 after a 26-year career in Banking. Having worked for local Invercargill banks, she has an extensive knowledge of Relationship Management, banking, insurances, and is an expert on Invercargill and the surrounding areas. As our key Insurance Review Specialist, Leana carefully looks out for clients throughout their insurance journey.
Tabitha joined our team in June 2018 after a 7-year stint in banking. Having various roles in banking and other industries, she has great customer service skills and is familiar with many aspects of the lending process. She has travelled New Zealand and lived abroad bringing a wealth of life experience and skills to the team. As our Administrator she supports both our clients and our team.
